15,4 C today! That’s pretty much the temperature we had here this summer. Depressing, considering that it’s been 2,4 C here, and that’s “warm” for the season – after all it is still January and we can expect winter for at least two more months.
Yesterday felt like spring though, despite the cold and snow. It may have been the sun at noon, or that violet light in the afternoon, but if I hadn’t been freezing my butt off I could almost have fooled myself that it was March and not January.
Tomorrow I won’t miss the first show of Jamie Oliver’s Italy on TV. Can’t wait! I really like him, and I really like Italy, so it’s gotta be a hit.
Oh, and I saw Just Like Heaven today, starring Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo. Loved it.
He made a remark to her that she had been saving lives as a doctor, and she replied that in fact, she had been saving her own life for the future, never thinking that the future might never come. Does that sound familiar?
