One of my biggest disappointments when I started school in September was that I wouldn’t be able to follow Days of Our Lives anymore. Now, I know - it is a horrible show, with lousy actors and the most unbelievable script ever. There are intrigues, there are child swapping, insertion of computer chips into the brains of people to alter their personality, there is manipulation to the extreme, there is the oh so annoying John who is always whispering really loud in the strangest way…
but still I watch, and I keep watching. I have been following “Days” on and off for at least 8 years now, and the best part of it is that it doesn’t matter if you don’t see it for a year, you’ll catch up pretty fast anyway.
Today is my first day of absence from school since I started. I hate being away as that means that I miss a lot, so I tried yesterday but after lunch I had to throw in the towel and go home. My teacher ordered me to stay at home today and if I didn’t feel a-okay today she told me to stay at home Wednesday too.
I guess that means that I won’t be going tomorrow either.
So I’m staying at home, catching up on Days, trying to help Carole with the layout of her blog, and every now and then I might make some effort to turn this apartment into a nicer place to be.
Good news: With a little luck, I’ll be getting my MasterCard today, and then I’ll go right to www.sas.se to order my Italy tickets!

Oh Annika! I think I HAVE given my virus to you!!! I hope you’re feeling better as I write this…
Well, you know how I love my Days of Our Lives– been watching it since the 60′s…[am I that old???]
but as crazy a show as it is, I feel like I’m addicted to it– growning older with the characters…John’s still whispering but in between his acting has improved I think…Ya gotta love Hope though….
Anyway– stay home, keep warm and eat lightly…the only thing I could get down was coke– kept my blood sugar up and settled my stomach a bit.
