For those of you who don’t believe that our summer nights really are light, I tried taking a photo at 2 am. The picture does not make justice to the night light though, it is really much lighter than it looks on the picture.
To be honest, that picture is really awful.
Anyway, it never gets dark. It’s light enough to read a book without a lamp, in the middle of the night, and it will be like this for a few weeks more.
The midsummer weather keeps doing what it’s always doing: Sun, clouds, then rain, then sun and clouds again but no real heat on midsummer’s eve, then after a beautiful night we wake up to a midsummer day with perfect weather. This is so ironic as midsummer’s eve is the day when the Swedes want to spend all day and night outdoors, while many spend the midsummer day indoors, sleeping or with a terrible hangover.
Well, I’m neither sleeping nor do I have a hangover as yesterday was completely non-alcoholic, so the more sun to enjoy for me!
Big game tonight. Tonight I’ll be watching TV, that’s for sure. Never really liked Germany much, and certainly not today. HEJA SVERIGE!
