here we go again

In Sweden, the name for “standard time” is vintertid – winter time.
Knowing that, I guess it is only appropriate that this morning we woke up to see the first snow.

In Italy we are haing an unusual warm spell. Despite it being almost November, it’s still as warm as late September. So far so good, OK. And it is surely good to be still able to keep the windows open, despite the heating being on for at least a couple of hours in the morning and evening. But this week the temperatures are forecasted to drop by 10 degrees. The too hot weather may become at once a quite old one. Colds and sneezes are on the way.

Oh, wow, fall cut short and winter coming without hesitation. :-) I guess there’s no question about having white Xmas in Sweden.

i just can’t bear a warm season that doesn’t last 6 months. it’s my inner texana, i guess.

Neither can I Tracie, and I’ve never been to Texas…
The forecast says that tonight we’ll have a blizzard and by tomorrow we’ll have 30-40 cm snow. I’m not happy.
