Yesterday I ordered a new cell phone, a Sony Ericsson W850i.
This will be my very first brand new, top modern, multi functional cell phone, and I am so darned excited. I want it NOW! This will also be my first cell phone that is not pre-paid, but if you consider that I have phone phobia and almost never call anyone, that shouldn’t be a problem. I would get the phone for a really good price if I signed up to Tele2 (plus completely free calls and text messages to other Tele2 users such as my husband), so I did.
It will replace my old phone (3G functions), my mp3 player (it’s a Walkman phone with a 1GB Memory Stick!) and (in daily use) my digital camera.
The only downside that I can see? It was only available in black. I would have loved a ‘golden white’ one.
I only hope it’s good. If anyone knows different, please tell me now while I still have the possibility to cancel the order.
I hope for your sake its good! Carlo and I don’t often update our phones after we canoed home one day with me sitting on thetop of his 1 man canoe…..we drowned both our phones by half submerging the canoe. Which is expensive when you can’t get free phones on contract!
Oh, you’ll have a ball with that one! Don’t be afraid. You can’t break anything. I just got a new phone too this past week. My Razr slipped out my pocket and slid into the porceline bow. Bye-Bye phone.
My new one is black also, and it shows marks easy, but it’s sooooo sexy!

Nicki, I accidentally washed Andre’s phone in the washing machine once. Somehow it worked again after spending the night on the radiator to dry!
