After reading the fabulous interview over at Bleeding Espresso, I wanted to play too!
Michelle gladly accepted my request, and here are her questions and my answers:Â
(1) Politics: Don’t get me started or I wouldn’t know where to start?
Both. I am very opiniated, but not interested enough to know the background or even the basic theories. I feel kind of guilty about it, but not guilty enough to read up on the subject.
(2) Would you prefer a partner to be smarter and/or more attractive than you?
As if either is possible… ![]()
Ok, seriously. Definitely smarter. I once briefly dated a guy who was all surface and very little on the inside, and frankly I found it to be quite a huge turn-off to be with someone who spent more time on his appearance than I do. I am not saying that looks don’t matter, because they do, but I need intellectual stimulance and challenge. A brilliant mind is far more attractive in the long run than good looks. As I wrote before; I have no patience with stupid people.
(3) What is one thing you’d really like to do well but don’t yet?
Speak Italian.
(4) Is it easy for you to tell people “no”?
Yes, I think it is. At least it is easier now than it used to be. I see so many people everywhere who are unhappy and bitter because they feel that they’re being “used” by other people – the way I see it, they are letting themselves be used by not saying no.
(5) Madonna or Cher?
The very existance of this question seems to imply that there are two kinds of people: Madonna fans and Cher fans. Interesting, I’ve never thought about it like that before. Who likes whom, and what does it say about them? Something in me wants to say Madonna, but that would be a lie. Cher it is.
Do you want to play too? These are the rules:
1. Leave me a comment saying “Interview me.”
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

I don’t know what the difference between Cher and Madonna fans is/implies either; it’s just something that popped into my head when I was trying to think of questions. Great answers–and the Italian is on its way
I just was interviewed too! For Cosmopolitan magazine!
WHAT? Ok, that kind of puts my interview in the shade….
That’s amazing Nicki, tell me more!!
I want to play to. Please may I?
OK…I want in!!!
Ooooh! What an interesting concept! I want in too!
