Well, my curly girl project – lockig.se – was a success from day one. I’m busy researching and writing content to the site, answering questions and thinking about how to make it a profitable business. I’m thinking about using my e-commerce skills from university (the little I remember of it) and start selling Jessicurl, Oyin, DevaCurl and other hair products that are suitable for curly hair and not easily found in Sweden or even Europe. I have great confidence in its possibilities, I just have to figure out the whats and hows.
I am also working full time at the salon, watching and learning and planning for the day when I’ll run my own salon.
I am doing all this while trying to minimize my time at the computer, spending more time and energy on being a good wife and mother, because truth to be told I haven’t invested enough in that part of my life, foolishly thinking that love is enough in itself.
I need to organize myself, schedule my life instead of trying to do everything at the same time because if I do everything at once nothing gets done properly. I want to do everything, and I don’t want to compromise or settle for anything less, and I think that if I just organize myself better it will be easier to keep up with everything. I don’t want to slow down, or give up on things I want and love. I just want to have control.
“Everything” isn’t too much to ask for, is it?

It will be quite a juggle, but with a good schedule it can be done!

Well, I like to have control too, but I’ve found that many things are outside our control
now I just settle for having my priorities aligned and being organized
