I was tagged for a Christmas meme, which I won’t do.
I also kind of feel obliged to take a pretty Christmas picture and post that, but I won’t.
It’s been a long and very nice day with food and gifts and Disney and everything that goes along with Swedish Christmas traditions, and I feel tired and satisfied. I finally finished that Colosseum jigsaw puzzle I started on seven weeks ago, and tomorrow I’ll continue with Positano. Colosseum was 1000 pieces and took 7 weeks, Positano is 1500 pieces. With a little luck I’ll finish it before we get there.
Italy is calling on me, invading my thoughts and dreams. I speak Italian in my dreams, making up sentences when I can’t find the right words. No, non posso restare qui, perché.. eh… mio figlio… devo portarlo dalla scuola alle cinque.
And although I was sleeping I knew that it was wrong to use portare in that sentence but I couldn’t remember what ‘pick up’ is in Italian, so I replaced it with something that I hoped would at least get my point through.
And although I was sleeping I felt really proud because the grammar came so easily even though the words were wrong.
I’ll go to bed now, who knows what tonight’s dreams may bring.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Glad to hear that you had a Merry Christmas. Good luck with the Positano puzzle.
Happy Christmas…..Italy misses you!
Buon Natale and keep dreaming-you’ll be there before you know it!
Andarlo a riprendere ^___^
