dinner poetry

to twirl spaghetti
onto a plastic fork
seems virtually impossible

and how come all paper plates
are so tiny
my food won’t fit

but I see great benefits
in using disposable tableware

our kitchen sink has not
been this empty
ever
and the small portions
may make me more
bikini friendly

So strange to hear this from a Swede.
Yes, Annika, it’s practical, but it’s environmental harmful. Think of this, also.

I worked in a tile factory 10 years ago and you couldn’t use plastic tableware at any trade fair in Germany.
10 years ago, and it had to be washable ceramics.
    Just an example.

Oh I know, but it’s only temporary because our normal plates are packed down in preparation for the move. Come Friday, we’ll be back to eating on real plates! :D

Full of well-being. A poem invoking
    warmth and contentment. Thanks.
And Italy round the corner for both of us!
