So.

Change of plans.

The trip, as planned, won’t happen.

What exactly happened? Can you postpone it, and your vacation, and save that time and money for Italy when it IS totally possible?

  3. Debra says:

Ohhhhh, no. How far are you thinking you’ll get??
    Oh hon, I’m sorry.:(

What do you mean??? Are you leaving tomorrow and just changing your itinerary?

  5. Annika says:

Well, yes. We are packing the car tonight and leave early tomorrow morning. We’re going alone though, no friend, and thus won’t go to Metz and most probably not to Italy either. I want to, my heart is bleeding and I spent last night crying my eyes out because I feel robbed of Italy – but now we just have to deal with it and move on. First stop tomorrow is my dad’s house in the very south of Sweden, very close to Denmark and Germany, then we know nothing. We’re bringing a tent and very comfortable air mattresses so we’ll always have a place to sleep.

Good luck, Annika! I am sure you will have a fabulous time no matter where your trip takes you. And Italy…well, if not this time, then next time will be twice as good ;)

Have a great trip and a safe drive!

A trip to nowhere can turn out to be very interesting and romantic! I wish you the best of luck and am truly sorry that you will not make it to your spiritual home on the Amalfi coast.

Annika-please try to have fun. My heat breaks for you-I can imagine how you are feeling. Italy will happen a other time-it will…

oh darlin’, my heart is in my stomach. I am so sorry that has happened. Anait is right: next time it will be twice as sweet. Keep your chin up!

    Hi Annicka,

Just want to suggest camping Pian dei boschi in Pietra Ligure. I use to go there very often, especially when my daughter was younger .

Your love to Italy impresses me. Unfortunately, August is the worst month to visit it. Hot , expensive and overcrowded

It’s a very nice place, cheap, fits for children and their parents. It’s big , you do not need to book and there’s always place.

Free beach with shower is about at 700 mt from there unless you would like to go to Borgio verezzi or Varigotti. Wonderful free beaches

You’ll have wonderful excursion from there. I went watching the whales. Good luck !!

Hi Annicka, posted yesterday but something happened and my comment disappeared.

If you are on a budget, a cheap, nice and closer place to go could be the camping Pian dei boschi in Pietra Ligure. I’m going there very often, especially when my daughter was younger. There’s always the place a shop and a restaurant where the pizza is phantastic. At 700 mt there is a free clean beach with shower. Give a look on their site. Guarantee it’s worth it. Ciao
