My name is Annika. I was born on the 4th of September 1979, on the east coast of central Sweden.

I have been married since 2001, to a man who is usually referred to as my husband. We have a son, Alexander, who was born in 2000.

I am a woman, a wife, a mother. I am a certified level B hairdresser, website manager, wanna-be writer. I am an avid traveler, amateur photographer with ambitions, and then some.

I am somewhat obsessed with Italy.

I write about anything that tickles my fancy – dove mi porta il cuore is Italian for “where my heart takes me”. I follow my heart, because my ‘word’ is PASSION and it is the only way for me to live.

Photography is a way for me to show you the world through my eyes, to let you see what my heart sees.
