Oh Raoul, you never cease to amaze me…
I didn’t know whether to post this here or on my Tango blog, but I decided that since it involves an Italian, I’ll stick it here.
The news is that (according to imdb.com) my imaginary boyfriend Raoul Bova is going to play the very swoon-worthy Tango singer Carlos Gardel in a movie about… well, Carlos Gardel, called “Dare to Love Me”. Oh, but I don’t need a dare – I already DO love both Raoul and Gardel. I’m very excited about this.
Never mind that a certain Lohan is also in the film (not like that role will be much of a stretch, considering her, um… habits)… Raoul will do wonderfully I’m sure. He blew my mind as St. Francis of Assisi, so surely he is capable of portraying Gardel. I wonder if he’ll sing in the film or if they’ll use recordings of Gardel’s voice?
